My name is Blake Butler, and I am proud to announce my candidacy for Asheville City Council. As an Asheville native, now living in South Asheville with my wife Spencer, I am deeply invested in the future of our community. What sets my campaign apart is my commitment to listening first. Rather than promoting a fixed agenda, I want to hear directly from you, our citizens and stakeholders, so together, we can shape Asheville’s path forward based on what our community wants.

South Asheville has been without representation on Council for far too long, even as our area continues to grow and thrive. I am excited to step forward as a new voice for South Asheville and to advocate for the needs and aspirations of our community.
